School feeding program will continue in primary👩

'School feeding program' will continue in government primary schools. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has announced to continue this program.

The finance minister made the announcement in the 2023-24 budget speech in the National Parliament on Thursday.

 

The finance minister said, in the field of primary education, we will continue the ongoing activities, especially infrastructure development, expansion, repair and renovation, stipend, distribution of textbooks and other educational materials, teacher recruitment and training digitalization, school feeding etc.

In the proposed budget of the next financial year, 34 thousand 722 crores have been allocated to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. In the current financial year, the amount of this allocation was 31 thousand 761 crores. Which is 2 thousand 961 crore more than the last budget.
